Solving Overpopulation

Overpopulation is bad news for the Philippines. Why? because overpopulation is related to poverty and unemployment which are two other problems our country is dealing with. Overpopulation could also affect the supply and demand of rice. The more mouths to feed, the more we need to grow rice.

Just like what the article said, it is easy to blame the poor for giving birth to a lot of children without them thinking about there financial status. Most of them grow up without having the chance to get out of the poverty line and thus worsen the rate of poverty.

Being overpopulated also means that there are more people who needs a job. Since most of the poor do not finish high school, a lot of them end up unemployed. I know that I should not blame them and that they are not at fault for being born poor but, I cannot think of another reason why we are overpopulated. (hahaha. I want someone to blame :)

Anyways,I realized that nothing will happen if we continue blaming them since it does not solve our problems.The best thing to do is to educate them and help one another to improve our home.  After all, the article even said that each and every one of us adds to the head count that constitutes the country’s population. We must think that being part of the problem, then we should also be part of the solution.

Personal Reaction

I was surprised when I read that China suffers from inflation. All this time I thought that third world countries like the Philippines are the only ones that suffer from inflation. Up until now, I never would have thought that first world countries can also suffer from inflation.

An increase in the rate of inflation is bad news to the people since the prices of items would increase. Businessmen are sure to be affected especially those who rely on buying and selling Chinese products. Since the inflation rate in China increased, businessmen would spend more to get the items they need for their business. Social unrest might also occur because of the increase and will only give problems. It's quite sad since I have relatives staying in China.

I suggest that the people in China spend their money now and not wait for a price drop so they can get things cheaper since their economy is expected to get worse in the next few months. They can also save it until they really need it because we can never be certain of our expectations nor can we predict the future.
